Google unveils code search

Google just launched a page that supports source code searching:

http://www.google.com/codesearch/advanced_code_search

I'm curious whether this development offers new possibilities for a distributed publication paradigm. It won't spider XML, but you might be able to create comparable structured content as a JavaScript object (such as JSAN).

What I can't tell yet is whether Google Code Search will spider linked or embedded JavaScript or only scripts added to code repositories like CVS and Subversion.
